Government and legislative affairs

The World Chiropractic Alliance is deeply involved in numerous legislative and government issues around the world. Our organization has forged productive and positive relationships with government leaders and health care officials in the U.S., Great Britain, Israel, Ireland, Australia, and many other nations.

The government issues the WCA is working on include legislation in the U.S. that would safeguard the unique role of chiropractors as the ONLY health care provider capable of detecting and correcting vertebral subluxation. We are also working closely with the World Health Organization to develop model legislation to be used to license and regulate the chiropractic profession in nations which do not yet have such laws.
