Purpose and Goals

WCA Canada

Members of our association will:

1. Be able to ethically practice traditional chiropractic without fear of prosecution or harassment from allopathic interests within or outside of the chiropractic profession.

2. Be defended and supported in their legal and ethical right to market and practice traditional chiropractic.

3. Have access to information to build their scientific, philosophical, artistic, and business abilities. OUR GOAL IS THE CLINICAL AND FINANCIAL SUCCESS OF EVERY CHIROPRACTOR IN CANADA.

We will accept and use the 1996 ACC (Association of Chiropractic Colleges) Document signed by every college President as our guide for scope of practice and goals of care (subluxation correction and prevention for health restoration and promotion).

WE ARE CREATING THIS ASSOCIATION BECAUSE:

Other national and provincial associations and boards have shown with repetitive and deliberate action that they:

1. Are unwilling to proactively aggressively market or defend chiropractic.

2. Are unwilling to support the literature-defined model of chiropractic and have purposefully tried to turn chiropractic into an allopathic modality for pain relief. They have funded and conducted research with this agenda and have deliberately created the myth that evidence based chiropractic means pain based. They have neglected and/or deliberately persecuted subluxation based chiropractic and chiropractors.

3. These organizations fail to recognize that chiropractic is subluxation based not pain relief based. The original definition of chiropractic and the most recent ACC document clearly establish this. A profession using manipulation to relieve pain may serve a useful purpose in society but it is not by any peer-reviewed definition Chiropractic, it is allopathy and it completely ignores the definition and philosophy of chiropractic as defined in the peer reviewed literature

We want a national advertising campaign telling the truth about medicine and chiropractic. We want to aggressively promote the safety, logic, patient satisfaction and outstanding results of chiropractic care and we will compare this to medicine in a public forum so citizens can make informed choices based on the truth rather than the diet of lies they have been led.

We will advise the public that M.D.s have zero hours of training in chiropractic and are therefore being unethical giving an opinion about chiropractic care for patients.

It is unacceptable to spend $100,000 on an education and then be set up to fail in practice and furthermore to have rules in place that make it almost inevitable to fait in practice because you can't market, etc.

Media

We have a tentative 3-year plan for creating marketing momentum with respect to the public's awareness of subluxation based Chiropractic.

YEAR 1 - Creation of small local ads and wellness columns that are welt referenced on the benefits of Chiropractic. To be displayed in local media.

YEAR 2 - Creation of full page ads for city and national papers advertising the benefits of Chiropractic. - Creation of website and 800 # for public interaction

YEAR 3 - Subluxation based 30 second commercials and 30 minute infomercials for television. - Piggyback website. 800# and information package for Chiropractor near you.

Legal

We will get a lawyer to pursue anyone publicly degrading or slandering chiropractic. To have a lawyer on retainer to fight for our legal, political, legislative and ethical rights to practice and market real chiropractic. Members in each province wilt get in touch with Ombudsmen so that we immediately begin a legal campaign to stop the illegal suppression of our rights to practice and market our businesses. We will not tolerate chiropractic boards bullying chiropractors that are ethically practicing and marketing real chiropractic. We want insurance for chiropractors so they can practice in this model without fear. We want to conduct or fund research within the chiropractic rather than allopathic paradigm.

Our long term goals are to revise the CCE accreditation to include less medical education in chiropractic education and more chiropractic science, philosophy, and art. We want to create a new school in Canada to teach within the chiropractic paradigm.
