URGENT ACTION ALERT!
From the World Chiropractic Alliance

analysis of the CCE Proposals and WCA arguments against them.
The Council on Chiropractic
Education has announced proposed revisions to the CCE Standards
for Chiropractic Programs, and all subluxation-based chiropractors
are urged to IMMEDIATELY voice their strong
objection to three of the provisions. The CCE has
given the profession only until January 5 to submit written
comments on these proposals.

letter to send to the CCE
The
proposed revisions will:
1.
Give the CCE and FCLB greater control over continuing education
programs
2. Change references to “doctor of chiropractic” to “physician”
3. Require that all colleges teach physiotherapy
These provisions could have
extremely serious ramifications for the entire profession, and
allow the CCE to interfere in state regulatory functions. They
could change the way chiropractic is taught, and how the public
perceives it. Most critical, however, is that they will increase
the CCE’s power over the profession.
In recent years, we have
witnessed an alarming push by chiropractic regulatory agencies to
assume authority over the profession, dictating what colleges must
teach and how field doctors must practice. We strongly believe
that the chiropractic profession belongs to doctors of
chiropractic – not to a handpicked group of power seekers who
gain control of key positions in agencies such as the CCE and
FCLB.
We CANNOT allow these
proposals to go through without strenuous objection. Please, join
us and other subluxation-based organizations in fighting this
abuse of power.
Please alert your colleagues
to this situation and ask them all to write similar letters to the
CCE. It will take a concerted effort by all of us to stop the CCE
in its quest for control over the profession.
Yours truly,
Terry A. Rondberg, D.C.,
President
