Chiropractic adjustments do NOT cause strokes!
Help the WCA get the story out to people in YOUR community!

We’re all reeling from the impact of the latest medical “news” linking chiropractic to stroke. It’s been in newspapers and broadcast across the Internet and on radio and television throughout the world. It’s absolutely ridiculous and you and I know it. Now, we have to make sure the public knows it, too!

That’s why the World Chiropractic Alliance has spent a great deal of money to submit the attached press release to all the major wire services -- including the Associated Press, UPI, Reuters, and numerous others. It was also sent to hundreds of newspapers, radio and TV stations and news media outlets throughout the country. Right now, our response is on the desks of editors from The Washington Post to The Los Angeles Times. Plus, the release was sent to numerous foreign broadcast networks such as the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., Univision, and Worldwide Television.

We took a hard-hitting approach to the situation. We realize there’s no sense in debating research statistics. We have repeatedly presented the media with overwhelming scientific evidence that chiropractic is extremely safe, and that the incidence of stroke following chiropractic adjustments is so low that it’s considered statistically insignificant. Yet, they keep publishing and broadcasting the propaganda provided to them by the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

Instead, we’ve exposed the real problem – the anti-chiropractic bias that contaminates the world news media. This is the story the public needs to hear and we’re hoping our “challenge” to news reporters will get them to run the press release and even do follow up investigations into the ongoing attack on chiropractic by the medical establishment.

Still, there’s always the chance the media will “bury” the story in order to protect their own economic interests.

That’s where you come in. The people in your community need to know there is NO real link between proper chiropractic care and strokes. They need to be told how the medical industry uses fear tactics to destroy chiropractic. They have to be made aware of why so many publications print this garbage in the first place.

To make sure they see the press release, I urge you to have it printed as a paid advertisement in your local newspaper. If you can’t afford the ad rates for your major state or city publication, place it in as many small community “weeklies” as you can. As a paid advertisement, you will be sure to get the message out to your current and potential patients without editing by the medical reporter on the newspaper’s staff.

I know this may be expensive. But think of all the patients who might be afraid to make an appointment with you after reading the news about the stroke study. You can’t afford NOT to get the truth out to them.

Let’s work together to make sure everyone knows that chiropractic is the safest approach to health and wellness available today!

Yours in chiropractic,

Terry A. Rondberg, D.C., President, World Chiropractic Alliance
