Kids Day America screens millionth child

by Drs. Stuart and Theresa Warner

Kids Day America/International achieved a major milestone for the chiropractic profession when it screened its one millionth child for vertebral subluxation. More than 1200 participants around the country are involved in the community event.

During the five years since Kids Day America/International had its debut, thousands of families have started chiropractic care and are on the road to good health.

Just as important, the phenomenon known as Kids Day America has produced millions of dollars worth of positive media exposure for chiropractic.

Thousands of newspapers, network news affiliates, and cable and radio shows have highlighted the work of chiropractors helping the children of their communities in a positive way. This has been the most significant public relations advancement in the history of the profession.

Everyone who has played an important role in this endeavor should feel pride in their involvement. There is tremendous power generated when chiropractors join together for one day to heighten the awareness of the importance of chiropractic care for children in their communities.

Kids Day America/International participants benefit from increased credibility because their offices are linked to a worldwide event with the support and endorsement of their local mayors and governors.

The real impact of Kids Day America/International is just beginning and it will continue to be evident in the new millennium. We hope to have enough chiropractors enrolled so, one year, we can screen one million children for subluxation each. This will help society shift from the allopathic model to the chiropractic lifestyle even faster.

Building community relationships is another meaningful benefit of participating in Kids Day event. Not only do other involved groups thank you for your contribution, they ask you to participate in their future events.

Chiropractors who want to participate in their town will have an even easier time planning the event with the new turnkey implementation kit available. After five years of evolution, the organizational strategies are down to a science with unlimited support.
