'Ground Zero' doctors honored

In recognition of their untiring efforts at Ground Zero in Manhattan, Drs. Phil Nadler and Richard Imundo were awarded Distinguished Lifetime Membership in the New York Chiropractic Council. Both doctors worked two days every week for the past six months to adjust rescue workers at World Trade Center health and rest stations.

Nadler and Imundo joined approximately 1,500 doctors of chiropractic who came from all over the country to serve thousands of relief workers, many of whom had never had a chiropractic adjustment.

Dr. According to NYCC leaders, their dedication at Ground Zero has been an inspiration to relief workers and fellow doctors of chiropractors. Dr. Ellen Coyne, chairperson of the New York Chiropractic Council and the coordinator at Ground Zero, noted, "They have a good reputation, and the people who received their chiropractic care just love them."
