The World Chiropractic Alliance has released its 2001 "Report to
Members," as well as its 2001 "Report to the United
Nations."
The member report outlines the major activities of the WCA during the
past year, including legislative efforts and organizational changes.
Among the legislative items summarized in the report are the VA bill,
House Concurrent Resolution 46, the Chiropractic Stamp Project, and the
HCFA lawsuit. Other key areas of activity involved public and media
relations and research.
The report, available online at the WCA's website (www.worldchiropracticalliance.org)
contains links to more detailed information on key issues.
The United Nations report, filed by Christopher Kent, D.C., reviews the
WCA's major activities as an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization)
affiliated with the Department of Public Information of the United
Nations. The U.N. report is also available online at the WCA site.
"We had an extremely busy and productive year," stated WCA
President Terry A. Rondberg, D.C. "We made progress on a number of
important issues and demonstrated clearly that our organization -- and its
members -- are having a significant influence on the course of the
profession."
