The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA) will be holding its first
"Interim Board Meeting" on Wednesday, January 29, in conjunction
with the Parker Seminar. Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker
College, invited the organization to hold an annual Board of Governor's
meeting in the facilities already reserved by Parker.
The World Chiropractic Alliance International Summit in Washington,
D.C., scheduled for May 1-3, 2003, will continue to be the WCA's primary,
politically oriented Annual Meeting.
The Interim Meeting at Parker will "give us an opportunity to show
the rest of the profession just how dedicated and pro-active the World
Chiropractic Alliance really is," according to WCA President Terry A.
Rondberg, D.C.
The WCA Interim Meeting will include a special "round table"
discussion where WCA Board members will field questions from the audience
.... a Board of Governor's evaluation and planning session ... and a
chance for WCA members and other subluxation-based doctors to gather in
the spirit of good-will and fellowship. The WCA will also have a booth at
the Seminar where it will distribute information about its purpose and
activities.
"Unfortunately, many doctors don't really know what we're all
about, and they don't know how much we've been able to accomplish,"
said Dr. Rondberg. "This will give them a chance to talk with us and
get to know us better. That's always the first step to
understanding."
Many WCA doctors attend Parker Seminars each year and this will be an
added incentive for them to go to the annual Las Vegas event.
"It should be an amazing seminar and it will be wonderful to share
the excitement with other WCA members, as well as chiropractors from
around the world," said Rondberg. "I urge all WCA members to
join us in Las Vegas in January, as well as in Washington for the
Summit."
