'Family Practice' library offers 'all-in-one' resource
An exclusive report from The Family Practice
Today's chiropractors
are fortunate to be entering into a health care atmosphere that actually
supports the philosophy they have learned.
Almost like a reverse
anachronism, the health care consciousness of society has finally caught up
with the health paradigm that B.J. Palmer espoused more than a century ago.
The decades-long
frustration of operating under an antiquated belief system has finally
ended, and chiropractors are emerging as the leaders of family health care
thanks to the support of organizations like The Family Practice and its
founder, Eric Plasker, D.C.
Up until recently, the
chiropractic profession had been forced to adapt to the medical model. With
the failure of managed care and the emergence of the wellness movement, "Now
all of sudden, we finally have a model by which we don't have to change our
premise," asserted Mancini, "but, instead, we can simply promote who we are
(and always have been) and be the leaders within that model because no other
premise in health care is as complete as the chiropractic model."
Through its one-on-one
coaching and Academy Training Programs (ATPs), The Family Practice, Inc.,
has dedicated itself to paving the way for chiropractors to establish
themselves as leaders "under this new health care paradigm that will define
the 21st century," said The World Chiropractic Alliance's President, Terry
Rondberg, D.C., who shares a similar vision.
This modern model opens
up exciting new territory both for practicing and future D.C.s, according to
Mancini. "I see Dr. Eric Plasker as the individual who has taken the
leadership in promoting the chiropractic wellness and family practice
concept so that chiropractors around the world understand there is a much
greater potential in their practices than just symptomatic care," he said.
In fact, with its new
Systems Library, The Family Practice, Inc., has pioneered a foolproof
formula that allows D.C.s of every educational background and technique to
customize their practice, staff and systems to provide superior services to
families inside this new wellness model.
Juggling all the
different aspects of practice from the clinical, administrative, financial
and marketing "can seem overwhelming," pointed out Rondberg. "What I like
about the Family Practice and its Library is that all the information a D.C.
needs is compiled in one place. I doubt if there's a question anyone could
ask that isn't answered."
The library contains
step-by-step books, forms, audios, CDs, and DVDS on how to set-up and run a
successful chiropractic wellness practice that will produce results for you
and your patients.
Dr. Ciro Rustici
recently utilized the premier coaching and training programs of The Family
Practice Academy and its Systems Library to update and upgrade his
successful practice of 30 years. The
Missouri
chiropractor says he has always believed and practiced a wellness model of
health care, "but The Family Practice has made the process more effective
and efficient."
Dr. Rustici's practice
revenue has increased by over 30% in only a year, "but that's just a
residual of the bigger vision that The Family Practice and Dr. Eric Plasker
has," he concludes, "The Family Practice isn't just about changing the face
of individual practices, it's about changing the global health consciousness
of society."
"My goal is to help
chiropractors take the philosophy they learned in school and apply it in a
practical, day-to-day manner that will produce measurable results for their
practices, patients and communities," explained Dr. Plasker. "We are taking
chiropractic philosophy and making it tangible by providing D.C.s with all
the systems, tools, personal and practice support they need to bring their
vision to life in the real world."
Before deciding to shift
gears and take his knowledge to the streets, Plasker ran two successful
family practices in Atlanta for over 16 years. Recently, he compiled and
made available to the public the over-800-page, 7-volume comprehensive
Systems Library that shares all his of insights, innovation and invention on
how to build a successful family-focused wellness practice.
"Every system builds on
the next and specifically targets families to create a congruent, unified
first-class family practice," said Plasker. "We don't want chiropractors
having to worry about enrolling families or weathering managed care cuts. We
want them to just be able to focus on delivering quality care and creating
results for their patients."
Last year, the Family
Practice helped chiropractors around the world deliver close to 2.6 million
patient visits, serve over 60,000 new patients and generate over $78,000,000
in revenue.
Plasker teaches his
practice building systems and concepts at six seminars across the country
each year and will be in
San Francisco,
California
May 16-18, 2003. For more information on the seminars, coaching, training or
