German WCA to present European Symposium

The World Chiropractic Alliance Deutschland (WCA D) will present the WCA European Symposium on Family Practice at the Interalpen Hotel in Tyrol (Austria) from Fri., July 16 to Sun., July 18, 2004.

Participants will enjoy a full schedule of chiropractic presentations, as well as exhibitions from 20 different vendors.

A special room rate will be available for the Interalpen Hotel, which features a swimming and spa complex with a 50 meter indoor pool, whirlpool, solarium and sauna. The hotel is considered one of the most beautiful in the region, with elaborate woodwork, handmade wrought iron decorations and treasured interiors. The hotel is also noted for its fine cuisine and first rate wine cellar.

The Interalpen is centrally located ‑‑ close to Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.  Some of the oldest cities in Europe are an easy and scenic drive away, offering a variety of places to visit before or after the Symposium.

The Interalpen Hotel is situated in the middle of the fascinating Tyrolean mountain ranges, which include the Karwendel, the Wetterstein and the Hohe Munde mountains with the Mieminger chain. For doctors wanting to combine business with pleasure, the hotel makes an ideal starting point for extensive walks through forests and meadows, as well as exhilarating hikes. An 18‑hole championship golf course is nearby and, surrounding the hotel are trails used in two Olympics for outdoor events.  Also available is white‑water rafting, hiking, mountain‑biking, roller‑blading, fishing, and indoor and outdoor tennis.

The WCA D has reserved a block of hotel "apartments" (each approximately 800 sq.ft.) for double use at a daily rate of Euro128 per person (approximately US$135) which includes an extensive buffet breakfast, a four course dinner, service charge and all taxes.

The event is being organized by Mark J. Styers, D.C., a member of the WCA International Board of Directors and President of the WCA of Germany. Dr. Styers also is Director of the American Institute of Chiropractic in Germany and practices at the Meridian Spa in Wandsbek (Hamburg), one of the largest health clubs in Europe.
