CLA, Parker Seminars to hold Deepak Chopra program

Deepak Chopra, whose books have sold more than 30 million copies, is one of the world's top health and wellness personalities. A frequent guest on major television and radio talk shows, he has lectured to huge audiences throughout the world.

In 2002, Dr. Chopra was a guest on the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance's (CLA) "On Purpose" audio program.

"His first interview for "On Purpose" drew amazing responses from our chiropractic subscribers all over the world," said Patrick Gentempo, D.C., CLA CEO. "Not only were his views on innate intelligence and quantum biology exciting and validating, but additionally his explicit admiration of chiropractic from this wellness icon lifted the spirits of all who listened." Dr. Chopra appeared on a second "On Purpose" interview in July 2003.

Drs. Gentempo and Chopra continued to build on the relationship formed during the taping of the "On Purpose" programs and will co‑sponsor a special Parker Seminar program in 2003.

The four‑day event ‑‑ called "Journey Into Wellness" to emphasis chiropractic's lead in the wellness revolution ‑‑ was developed by Chopra and his partner Dr. David Simon and customized for chiropractors with the Gentempo's help.

"Drs. Gentempo, Chopra and Simon combined forces to create a true 'Journey Into Wellness,'" said Tony Palmermo, D.C., CEO of the World Chiropractic Alliance, who attended last year's event. "Do whatever you must do to learn, share, meet and mingle with the leaders of the new frontier in health and healing."

The program is slated for October 9‑12, 2003, at the Chopra Center at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.

His presentation, 'Healers As Leaders' was mesmerizing and pivotal. Everyone left there with a greater vision and focus."
