Do you live under the black flag of death?

by Dr. Kevin Pallis and Dr. Ed Plentz

What's the black flag of death? It's the allopathic world of control and management. It's not solely MDs, scientists, the government, or the media but all of them. And, if we keep allowing these allopathic terrorists to hold us hostage, we, too, will be cowering under this flag. When you live under this shadow you accept war, pollution, crime, etc. as "just the way it is." Your plunder comes at the expense of society's suffering.

The black flag of death is flown over our houses, our work places, our religious centers, everywhere. Subconsciously we live in fear of sickness. The negative predicament of the world is because no one believes in health. We only believe in science and the black flag of death.

Yet, while everyone is in agreement that the world is in a downward spiral, we continue waiting for science to come up with the next miracle cure that will alleviate responsibility for individuals to stay healthy. Is there a pill to remove VSC?

Disease is on the tip of everyone's tongue. If you're a female, you have a deeply seated subconscious fear of breast cancer. If you're a male, it's heart disease. You have been programmed with these fears as long as you've been living under the black flag.

The amount of media attention, emotion, and profit derived from sick people is staggering. Our society has made an aberration (a disease state) a non‑aberration (a normal state).

When someone is "diagnosed" with illness, the black flag is raised and people feel sympathy for the person, but at the same time they breathe a silent sigh of relief it isn't them ‑‑ at least for now. No thought of becoming healthy is ever entertained. Instead, it's how to escape the black flag's latest trap. Can you imagine organizations that profit and are dedicated to disease versus health? Only when the black flag is unfurled.

When you practice chiropractic under the black flag of death ‑‑ for example, treating patients on a short term, non‑family basis for the removal of symptoms only ‑‑ you're part of the problem, not part of the solution. Without the intent of wellness, chiropractic becomes a natural aspirin under the black flag.

Since removing the VSC on a lifetime basis is your only hope of escaping impending doom brought upon you by the black flag, raise the wellness flag over your office proudly.

Newsweek magazine states 68 million Americans have bad backs. As a DC under the wellness flag you can only read this with amazement and disgust. Of course they have injured spines, they haven't had wellness chiropractic.

Some readers may not be getting the dire meaning here. In the 1940s and '50s, there was no connection between obesity, eating, and exercising. The black flag was flown. In the '50s and '60s there was no "official" statement linking smoking to lung disease. The black flag was flown. Whether the black flag can explain it or not, it did ‑‑ and does ‑‑ claim lives and contributes to the downward spiral of humanity. When will we as a profession unfurl our own flag of wellness?

Today's baby boomers and Generation‑Xers are searching for ways to improve the quality and quantity of their lives (wellness). The reason for this search is their failing health and that of their parents. They've taken it upon themselves to find ways to extend their lives and add quality to them.

They have the money and aren't shy about spending it, as long as you make an emotional connection with them. But, you must realize, it's nearly impossible to make an emotional connection with a person who you're seeing for the removal of symptoms on a short‑term basis. This is what most of society under the black flag thinks chiropractic is all about.

It's a no‑brainer to make an emotional connection by removing accumulated layers of spinal injuries. The baby boomers and Generation‑Xers have ailing relatives with chronic and degenerative conditions. They realize and accept the concept of accumulated uncorrected injuries resulting in problems later.

Don't fly the black flag of death over your office. Fly the flag of wellness.
