Old problem meets new solution

Submitted by Neck Orthotic, Inc.

Most DCs recognize the devastating effects of forward head posture and the loss of the normal healthy cervical curve. While some chiropractors are making the correction of this problem a priority, the majority are not.

It is a fact that active patient home traction in addition to appropriate adjustments will yield high corrective outcomes. In addition, patients that participate in their correction have better compliance and higher satisfaction with their care, the office, and the DC.

Neck Orthotic, Inc. designed and manufactured the first and only "ORTHOTIC" for the neck. Like other orthotics, the purpose is to build up the normal "ARCH" or "ARC." The product name is POSTURE RIGHT and is trademarked protected. The device is also U.S. Patent Pending.

Neck Orthotic, Inc. recognizes and endorses all other cervical traction devices as excellent products for their intended uses. Neck Orthotic, Inc.'s intention is to offer this new product for practitioners looking for an easier, simpler, and cost effective way to have more of their patients participate in correction of their cervical spine. This product is also ideal for the individual still recommending a rolled up towel as a form of home care.

Even though this product looks simple, it simply works. Because of the specific and constant contact point, it achieves an excellent consistent fulcrum and traction without the use of straps, pulleys, weights, water or inflation. It has two angles for staged and progressive care which delivers more or less traction as needed. The traditional wedge design allows for specific vertebral placement with comfortable maximum traction. It is made of ABS plastic to ensure stability of shape and fulcrum. It weighs just over one‑half pound and takes up little room due to its stackable design.

Patients work up to 15‑minute sessions or as recommended by the chiropractor.

More than 150 offices have the new POSTURE RIGHT neck orthotic and Neck Orthotic, Inc. has a 98.7% satisfaction rate with the DCs who have ordered and used the new product.

Neck orthotics can be purchased for as little as $15.50 each in quantity and they have a suggested retail of $39.
