New book delights and teaches kids

It's Santa's worst nightmare. Just hours before he has to begin making his rounds, three of his reindeer aren't feeling well. Or, as Dianne Miller says in her book, "The Chiropractor Who Saved Christmas," "Dancer stopped dancing, Dasher stopped dashing, and Prancer stopped prancing."

Illustrated by Ron Miller, the book is sure to become a holiday classic among chiropractors and their patients. The 32‑page picture story book tells the delightful tale of how a doctor of chiropractic ‑‑ Dr. May ‑‑ is called to the North Pole on the night before Christmas to give adjustments to the sick reindeer, as well as all the elves and Santa too.

The colorfully illustrated story does more than just make a DC the hero of the story. It also helps teach children (and their parents) about the role of chiropractic in health.

"Our health comes from inside," the doctor tells Santa. "I just help with alignment so your sickness can't hide. You create your own health, You create how you feel. I help open the channels, so your body can heal."

The book was dedicated to "Aunt Linda, our favorite chiropractor" and shows a true understanding of chiropractic. An ideal teaching and public relations tool, the book will be treasured by children for years to come.

"I have two young children of my own," said Timothy Feuling, president of Chiropractic Benefit Services RPG, who's making the book available to doctors at special discounted prices. "And I know this will become one of their favorites. I'm sure they'll read it over and over ... and over!"

Single copies are available for $18.95, shipping and handling included. But doctors who purchase the book by the case (82 books per case) qualify for the special bulk price of just $3.30 per book ($270.60 per case, with shipping and handling included in the price).

"I can't think of a better present to give your patients this holiday," Feuling said. "It's sure to boost practice volume and result in numerous referrals."
