Online printshop for DCs launched

New company comes with CLA recommendation

A new online printshop called eSpizz.com offers on‑demand print material to the chiropractic profession. The site, located at www.espizz.com, has professionally designed patient flyers, postcards and signs that can be personalized to assist a chiropractor in promoting his or her practice and the benefits of chiropractic care.

An online printshop of this sort with an included graphic design component is new to the profession. Visitor can simply log onto the eSpizz website and select from a variety of print designs that combine photographic images with compelling headlines. The designs are the work of a professional ad team of artists and copywriters assembled specifically to write print material for a lay audience that is authentic to a wellness philosophy of chiropractic care.

According to eSpizz founder Christina Mandara, the website is user-friendly, although, she says, "it is best experienced when you have an idea for a marketing activity you would like to promote. For example, one poster design features a little boy jumping on the beach with a headline that reads, 'He's been to the pediatrician. He's had his dental checkup. When is his spinal checkup?' This particular item would be effective in promoting family pricing plans or health talks encouraging parents to consider chiropractic care for their children."

The current selection of print designs includes a general Chiropractic Series, and materials promoting the Toys For Tots campaign and CLA Insight brand. The site offers an enlarged view of all products before ordering. Drop down menus offer helpful hints on how to personalize a print item. An online proof allows you to view your personalization before checkout. On demand printing means items can be printed in full color, and in quantities as small as 100‑250 pieces. Print prices are comparable to other national print franchises.

Prior to launching eSpizz.com, Mandara worked as Marketing Director for Patrick Gentempo, DC and Christopher Kent, DC, of the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. "Christina directed marketing activities of CLA for four years," Dr. Gentempo remarked. "Her talent and creativity in both verbal and visual marketing, combined with her understanding of chiropractic's role in lifetime family care is now ready to enhance and bring sophistication to the image of our noble profession."

The name eSpizz, pronounced eee‑Spizz, was adapted from the short word "spizz" for Spizzerinctum. It is defined as "the will to succeed." Popularized in chiropractic by B.J Palmer, it is often used to refer to "chiropractic enthusiasm."
