Life University professor honored for service

Jerry Hochman, DC, professor at Life University, was honored by the Sacro Occipital Research Society International or SORSI, on April 15, for his many years of service to the organization and his excellence in teaching and research.

"It's a good feeling to be honored by my peers and mentors," said Hochman. "SORSI members keep me constantly inspired to do a better job in my clinic and in the classroom. I appreciate the recognition."

A graduate of Life University, Hochman has been teaching for over 21 years and has published a number of research papers. He is the first professor from Life to receive this award, one of the two highest honors in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) for publishing, service and teaching.

He was named a Diplomate of the International Craniopathic Society during a cranial seminar, which was part of SORSI's Midyear Conference in Atlanta on April 15-17.
