Trip to Honduras helps 18,000

Upper Cervical doctors from around the world gathered in Honduras this fall and provided free specialized Upper Cervical health care to more than 18,000 people.

With the help of hosts, Robert and Amy Coello of Inner Fire Ministries, the Upper Cervical Health Centers and Kale Network team of 23 doctors and staff set out to provide free upper cervical care during the week long trip.

The team was invited to set up a work area in the main entrance of two hospitals in the city of Tegucigalpa: Hospital St. Felipe and Hospital Escuela. They encountered no prejudice against the profession and worked hand‑in‑hand with medical doctors, the administration and staff.

On the last day of the trip, the team arrived at Hospital Escuela and was greeted by some 2,000 cheering people who were waiting to be examined. Some had driven for six hours to get to the DCs, and had waited since 3 a.m.

Smaller teams visited an orphanage, an area mall, a school and a small village on the outskirts of the city during the trip.

The team of doctors saw people with various conditions including strabismus, allergies, hearing loss, lupus, respiratory disorders, neck and back pain, vertigo, TMJ, and many others. By the end of the week, at least 30 people gave personal testimonials of restored health and relief from painful symptoms thanks to the Upper Cervical procedure.

"It was refreshing to visit a country that was more concerned with getting people well than politics or making money," said Ray Drury, DC. "The Honduran medical community welcomed and embraced our team and truly appreciated what we offered them."
