Upper Cervical Evolution 2007 set for March

One of the largest events in upper cervical history, Evolution 2007 is aimed at honoring the diversity among upper cervical doctors around the world and promoting the common goal of presenting a unified front of upper cervical care to the general public.

This seminar offers a presentation by upper cervical pioneers sharing their vision of uniting techniques and one day bringing upper cervical care to the forefront of the health care industry. Leaders of major upper cervical techniques, as well as upper cervical researchers, educators, and instructors from around the world will be in attendance.

Terry A. Rondberg, DC, president of the World Chiropractic Alliance and publisher of the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research will be a keynote speaker on chiropractic research. James Sigafoose, DC, will give a special presentation on upper cervical philosophy. In addition, Greg Buchanan will be a featured speaker and will film an upper cervical documentary to be released following Michael Moore's documentary "Sicko" about the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

The event is sponsored by the Upper Cervical Health Centers of America (UCHCA), a practice management group dedicated to uniting upper cervical doctors in their effort to change the way people view health care.

UCHCA, in an attempt to build excitement about the Upper Cervical work through the chiropractic schools, is using sponsorship proceeds to help students by paying for rooms so they can attend the Upper Cervical Evolution 2007. "The Upper Cervical Evolution 2007 is going to be like the D.E. seminars years ago that used to keep you up all night because everyone is so excited about chiropractic they can't sleep."

According to UCHCA co‑founders Drs. Ray Drury and Thad Vuagniaux, one goal of the event is to help unite upper cervical doctors by encouraging them to put their differences aside and respect the fact that all upper cervical procedures "get phenomenal results."

"If we are truly going spread the message of upper cervical care to the world, we must present a united front to the general public," they stated in a press release. "The in‑fighting within upper cervical care is a thing of the past. We must move forward if we are truly going to reach the sick and suffering of the world. By ourselves, we can change our communities but together, we can change the world."

They added that, with the endorsement of upper cervical advocates James Tomasi and Greg Buchanan, UCHCA is "beginning to explode with the potential of spreading upper cervical care to the world. The Upper Cervical Evolution will be the only opportunity to expose both students and doctors to every upper cervical technique at one event. It's going to be huge!"

They explained that, in order to expose as many chiropractic students to upper cervical care as possible, profits from our sponsors will be used to pay for rooms for students interested in attending. "We were both students once and we remember the lean financial times so by purchasing the rooms, we are hoping to tear down another barrier for the students in hopes that some of them will experience upper cervical like we have," they commented. "It will change their lives and the lives of every patient they touch." More than over 140 students have registered for the Upper Cervical Evolution.

Both doctors said they remember being at DE for the first time and the experience had a profound affect on them. "That first DE literally changed our lives forever and we just want to give back by exposing as many chiropractic students to upper cervical care as we can. The Upper Cervical Evolution 2007 is going to be like the DE seminars years ago that used to keep you up all night because everyone is so excited about chiropractic they can't sleep."

The seminar will be held at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The main stage will feature upper cervical pioneers sharing their upper cervical experiences. There will also be breakout sessions where specific techniques are introduced and taught.

Other guest speakers include Drs. Robert Brooks, Michael Burcon, Daniel Clark, Gerald Clum, Shawn Dill, Ray Drury, Kirk Ericksen, Tom Forest, Thomas Gelardi, Drew Hall, Robert Kessinger, Cecil Laney, Stanford Pierce, Milton Steele, Roy Sweat and Thad Vuagniaux.

Registration is $395 for doctors and $25 for students. Late registration (after March 1, is $100 extra). Twelve hours of continuing education credit has been applied for.
