Gentempo named to Wellness Revolution Hall of Fame

Patrick Gentempo, Jr., DC, Chief Executive Officer of both the Creating Wellness Alliance and the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA) was inducted into the Wellness Revolution Hall‑of‑Fame on February 7th in Las Vegas during a ceremony hosted by Parker College and Parker seminars.

Dr. Gentempo was honored along with the inaugural class of inductees that included: Todd Cooperman, Peter and Kathie Davis, Steve Demos, Dr. Bob Hoffman, Jill Kinney, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, Dr. Joe Mercola, Carl Rehnborg, Dr. Russ Reiss, J.J. Rodale, Dr. Geoff Tabin, Paul Wenner, and Dr. Frank Yanowitz.

"The Wellness Revolution Hall‑of‑Fame takes the time to honor wellness innovators who continue to change our world for the better," says economist Paul Zane Pilzer, author of "The Wellness Revolution" and founder of the Hall.

Gentempo ‑‑ a 1983 Life Chiropractic College graduate ‑‑ is an internationally renowned speaker/author and chiropractic business consultant. He co‑founded CLA with Christopher Kent, DC, Esq., in 1987. CLA introduced surface EMG technology to chiropractic in 1988 and subsequently developed the Insight Discovery Subluxation Station.

In the fall of 2003, Gentempo established the Creating Wellness Alliance ‑‑ a network of wellness‑based chiropractic practices. There are now more than 170 wellness centers throughout North America.

"Society is beginning to recognize that chiropractic care enables the wonderful organism known as the human body to operate efficiently," Gentempo commented. "Combined with meal planning, exercise, and a clear mind, people can change the way they live ‑‑ and reclaim their lives. There is a global Wellness Revolution afoot and I believe that chiropractors will lead the way."

He added that, "it has been my vision to change and improve the consumer's perception of chiropractic while empowering DCs to change the way that their community approaches healthcare. I am flattered to be included amongst the distinguished class of inductees to the Wellness Revolution Hall of Fame. I have great respect for Professor Pilzer's work and I hope to attend many such ceremonies in the future honoring those who are changing ‑‑ if not saving ‑‑ lives by promoting a wellness culture."

Gentempo was named the World Chiropractic Alliance's 1998 Chiropractor of the Year and a Distinguished Fellow by the International Chiropractors Association as well as its Postgraduate Educator of the Year. He has also been honored with the American Chiropractic Association's Presidential Award of Merit.
