DCS plans chiropractic 'revival' meeting
The Dead Chiropractic
Society (DCS), a Southern California‑based philosophy group headed by Bill
DeMoss, DC, is offering a special 12‑hour "revival meeting" seminar April
26, 2008 in Costa Mesa,
Calif. The groups' regular monthly meetings
are normally held in Newport Beach.
The DCS
attracts top chiropractic speakers and places its emphasis on chiropractic
philosophy and practice motivation. After working with Brian Porteous, DC,
on the "Dr. Porteous and Friends" event, Dr. DeMoss came up with the idea
for the seminar. "We envision it as a kind of
West Coast
DE with the DCS
edge," he stated. "We couldn't have done this without the help of Dr. Brian
Porteous."
According to DeMoss,
the Dead Chiropractic Society is "not your typical chiropractic group. DCS
meetings are based on high energy rock 'n' roll energy to motivate and
encourage chiropractors to go tell the chiropractic story, not only to help
chiropractors build their practices but to save lives."
The April 26 meeting,
dubbed The California Jam, will be held in the Orange County Performing Arts
Center, which holds 3,000 people. All seating is reserved and DeMoss
encourages doctors to reserve seats for themselves, their CAs, and even
their patients as soon as possible. "This is an old time chiropractic
revival and will be one of the biggest parties in chiropractic history," he
noted.
"Do you want your CAs
to be on fire? Then bring them to The California Jam so they get the biggest
of ideas," DeMoss announced enthusiastically. "The massive lineup of DCS
All‑Stars includes Drs. James Chestnut, Rob Schiffman, Patrick Gentempo,
Jimmy Gregg, Fred Schofield, Ben Lerner, Dennis Nikitow, Monika Buerger,
Eric Plasker, Cliff Tao, and Brian Porteous. All on one stage!" DeMoss will
act as host for the event.
Five hours of X‑ray
re‑licensure credits are available the day before through a seminar
presented by Cliff Tao, DC, at the DCS Clubhouse in Newport Beach.
