FCP wins media award
The Foundation For Chiropractic Progress (FCP)
was the recipient of a Certificate of Excellence for Superior Achievement in
Media Relations from the North American Precis Syndicate, Inc (NAPS), a
major distributor of press releases.
FCP received the award from Kent S.
Greenawalt, FCP
Chairman and Founder Emeritus, during this year's Parker Seminar in Las
Vegas, Nev.
"The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress is
honored to receive this award of excellence," said Greenawalt. "It
recognizes the FCP's dedication and success in spreading the word about the
many benefits of chiropractic."
FCP's
advertorial regarding children's backpack safety clinched the award, and was
just one of several releases the FCP
distributes to the media that promote the benefits of chiropractic. This
particular release was carried by 775 newspapers throughout the nation,
circulating to more than 40 million. Because of this, the children's
backpack safety release was placed in the top one-quarter of 1% of all
releases distributed to the media through NAPS, including those from Fortune
500 companies, over 100 associates, all top 12 public relations firms and
more than a total of 1,600 accounts.
