NYCC to hold Women's Health Symposium

New York Chiropractic College will hold its seventh annual Women's Health Symposium on Mar. 29 in the Delavan Theater of the NYCC campus on Route 89 in Seneca Falls. This year's keynote speaker will be Mary Balliett, DC, director of the NYCC School of Applied Clinical Nutrition and assistant professor at the College. This year's topic is Supplements for Side Effects: Effective Supplementation for Medication‑induced Nutrient Depletion.

Registration for the event is $5 per person, and those who register in advance will receive a gift. Registration/check‑in on the day of the event begins at 8:15 AM. Paid registration includes a continental breakfast; admission to the lecture; fact‑filled note pack; gift tote; luncheon, featuring guest speaker Margaret Finn, DC, who will discuss Stress Busting.

Dr. Balliett will share her knowledge and years of clinical experience in using proper nutrient supplementation to help reduce common side effects from taking medications. According to NYCC, the information to be presented is critical to anyone who either takes medication or has a loved one who does.

"As always, NYCC's Women's Health Symposium is committed to empowerment and better health through education and sharing," the school stated.
