Peru DCs hold first philosophy seminar

On Jan. 12, chiropractors in Peru attended the first chiropractic philosophy seminar ever presented in the history of that country.

Dr. Myron Brown, vice president of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic traveled to Lima to present the seminar, which was sponsored by the Peruvian Chiropractic Alliance (PCA) a WCA affiliate in Peru.

"This historic chiropractic philosophy seminar brought together over half of the estimated 30 chiropractors currently practicing in this pro‑chiropractic country," stated PCA's founder and President Liam Schubel, DC. "This group of chiropractic pioneers came together for a united purpose: their chiropractic principles and philosophy."

Also present at the seminar were members of the Peruvian Chiropractic Association. Carl Lundgren, DC, one of the key organizers of the event, said: "It's wonderful to start the year off with a 'spizzed up' seminar that can bring together both chiropractic political groups in the country united on a common theme."

After the seminar, the group presented Dr. Brown with a plaque of appreciation, a toast with a traditional Peruvian Pisco Sour, and a reception dinner in his honor.
