CCE hires new executive director

The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) has hired Lee Van Dusen, DC, assistant vice president of institutional quality and assessment of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) as its Executive Director.

"Lee Van Dusen brings to the CCE over 20 years of experience in chiropractic education, accreditation and quality assurance. Dr. Van Dusen is well prepared to advance the interests of chiropractic accreditation by leading the organization in achieving its strategic goals," commented Sandra Mooney, CCE Board President.

Van Dusen served in several posts at NYCC, including assistant professor, associate professor, dean of chiropractic education, dean of academic quality assurance and support, and assistant vice president for academic quality assurance and support.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and another baccalaureate degree in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Van Dusen is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Society for Quality, and is a Fellow of the American College of Chiropractors.

"I am pleased and excited to be joining The Council on Chiropractic Education, and look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the education of doctors of chiropractic," commented Van Dusen.
