Logan names new VP
Logan College of
Chiropractic has appointed George T. White, EdD, as vice president for
academic affairs. Dr. White joins Logan from Montana State
University-Billings, where he is interim provost and vice president for
academic affairs.
"We are extremely
pleased to have someone of Dr. White's caliber as a member of Logan's
leadership team," said college President George Goodman, DC. "As a seasoned
academic leader, his rich and diverse experience in higher education will be
a major factor in helping us sustain our reputation for program excellence."
Before joining the
administration at Montana State University, White spent eight years at the
University of Tennessee-Martin as an associate professor and chair of health
and human performance, associate dean and director of graduate programs, and
interim dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Prior to
this time, he was an associate professor at Clemson University where he
established and coordinated programs in coaching education, health education
and physical education.
Dr. White holds a
bachelor of science degree in health and physical education and chemistry
education from the University of Louisiana-Monroe, where he also earned a
master of science in health and education and counseling. He also holds a
doctor of education degree from the University of Arkansas.
