Online forum a student asset

Students need much more than classroom instruction and textbooks to really learn about chiropractic. They need to talk among themselves, discuss ideas, ask for (and offer) help, air their complaints and express their concerns. And they need to be able to do so in safety and confidentiality.

That's why www.DC2BE.com is such a tremendous asset for chiropractic students around the world.

Since its introduction in 2007, students have used the site to post messages about everything from which candidate would make the best president for chiropractic to what state students plan to practice in. Forums are divided into various topics, such as Student Life, Clubs, Events, Boards and Exams, Philosophy, Science, Art/Technique and a specific forum for each college.

Guests can read all messages, but only registered members can post a message. Registration is free and provides access to all site features and articles. Posters can choose their own usernames to ensure confidentiality.

In addition to the forums, the site offers a classified ad section that has become one of the most popular features on DC2BE.

The site is provided by Robert Braile, DC, former president of the International Chiropractors Association, founder of Now You Know internet services for chiropractors, and publisher of the popular e-newsletter, "The Information Age."
