Oklahaven kids become Chiro-Squad superheroes

Thanks to Vic Naumov, DC, creator of the Chiro-Squad Super-Heroes and Kids Club Internal Marketing System, youngsters at Oklahaven Children's Chiropractic Center will be having a "super" year! Dr. Naumov has generously agreed to provide Oklahaven with his Chiro-Squad Kids Club System throughout 2009 at no cost.

This three-part system contains eye-catching hero action posters, official Kids Club membership cards and "I'm a Chiro-Squad Kid Hero" stickers. "Kids enjoy being part of something special," says Naumov. "The Kids Club allows for that type of environment to develop."

In 1997, the NJ-based family chiropractor was still a student at New York Chiropractic College, a new dad to his first son, Bryant, and a superhero fanatic. Even then, he started dreaming of creating and using popular superhero figures to teach the children of the world about chiropractic history and its health care benefits.

Armed with nothing more than this dream -- and a pencil -- Naumov created Cervico, Thoracico and Lumbardo: The Chiro-Squad, Guardians of the 33 Chiropractic Principles.

"As a family chiropractor, it has always been my purpose to help bring chiropractic care and understanding to as many children and their parents as possible throughout my career. Supporting the great work of Dr. Bobby Doscher and her Oklahaven team, will enable me to get one step closer to achieving that goal," said Naumov. "Since their creation in 1997, the Chiro-Squad Super-heroes have been getting kids excited about having their spines checked. My trio of super-heroes has been my secret internal marketing weapon since 2000."

In addition to the direct donation to Oklahaven, Naumov will donate 10% of all of sales generated through his website www.ChiroSquad.com  to the children's center.

"I've always believed that you get what you give. As a parent of two boys, I understand that our kids are our future and the best gift any parent can give their child is the gift of good health," he explained. "Unfortunately, most parents don't realize that chiropractic care holds that special key. Out with the old and in with the new. Parents need to understand that Chiro-Squad Kids are healthy kids."
