One thing I can absolutely guarantee is
that there's never a dull moment within the chiropractic profession! It
seems that if you put two chiropractors in a room, you'll have a
disagreement. Is it because we tend to think outside the typical concepts
or that our profession appeals to rugged individualists? Either way, we
seem to have more challenges than we see in dentistry or medicine,
especially when the going gets tough. |
 | Famed runner joins marathon
-- The Non-Profit Chiropractic
Organization (NPCO) announced last month that world-class runner Reza
Baluchi will run as a member of its team for this October's Bank of
America Chicago Marathon. A life-long fan and supporter of chiropractic,
Baluchi is known for his Los Angeles to Ground Zero (New York) run in 2003
that he dubbed, "Run 4 Peace." The journey covered 3,720 miles over a
period of 124 days. In 2008, Baluchi ran the perimeter of the United
States (11,500 miles) in 202 days, averaging 57 miles per day. |

2008, while attending a New Beginnings chiropractic philosophy weekend in
New Jersey, a chiropractor from Ohio told me how he was taking care of
soldiers at the U.S. Army base near his home. I was inspired to do the
same in my own neck of the woods. |
