$225,000 a day of training

by Dr. Terry A. Rondberg

I know a lot of people criticize them, but I think the practice consultants available for our profession are tremendous assets. I can't imagine anyone having a truly successful practice without at least a short period of mentoring by one or more of these coaches. Most of them know chiropractic inside out and can teach, from their own experience as well as the experience of their clients, everything from transitioning to a cash practice to the most effective patient education procedures.

Many doctors say they can't afford to hire a consultant in these "hard times," but to be brutally honest, many of them won't be around for the "good times" unless they get help NOW. Ironically, in a few months or a year, they'll be hiring a consultant to help them sell their practice when they could SAVE it if they'd be proactive and get the expert advice and assistance they need today.

I urge every one of you -- whether you're doing great and want to keep going at that level, have plateaued and want to break through to the next stage of growth, or are hurting and need to get on track to success -- to do what every top business leader does: find and use the resources available to you. You can't do it alone, and you don't have to.

It's odd that doctors will seek advice for everything from what insurance to buy to filling out their tax forms, but when it comes to their most important asset -- their practice -- they slip into a "DYI" (Do it Yourself) mode.

In addition to hiring a chiropractic consultant, I urge you to check out another important asset being made available to the chiropractic profession, which makes a perfect complement to your chiropractic coach.

It's a training program called the EDGE (Expert Directed Guided Education) developed by iLearningGlobal that uses the power of the Internet to deliver training by 100 of the world's top business experts. The online courses are given by people like Jay Abraham, who has worked with more than 10,000 clients in 400 industries and was ranked, by Forbes, as one of top five executive marketing coaches in the world. And Brian Tracy, best-selling author and sales training legend who has written 45 books published in 30 languages. And Dr. Tony Alessandra, creator of the Platinum Rule, a graduate professor of marketing, entrepreneur, business author, and hall-of-fame keynote speaker. Then there are Stephen Covey and Mark Victor Hansen, who need no introduction from me! You already know who they are -- and now you can take courses from them!

One of the reasons I think this program is so spectacular is that it is NOT strictly chiropractic. Don't get me wrong, we all need chiropractic consultants who know the ins and outs of our profession and can help us with the chiropractic issues we face in practice. But I think we also need to benefit from "outsiders" who know how to apply the same business savvy used by major companies and successful entrepreneurs.

There are courses in areas such as ultimate business tax strategies, marketing on a budget, improved employee retention and loyalty, office communication and much more. No, they won't teach you chiropractic philosophy, adjusting techniques, or insurance billing procedures. What their incredible faculty of experts WILL teach you is how to be more successful and increase your income and profits.

The EDGE program delivers high-definition, full-screen video training courses by each of the highly respected business leaders on its faculty, and EDGE members get 24/7 access to all of them. Each course is made up of multiple lessons and comes with a written transcript of each class for reference, plus summaries, exercises, and a course assessment. There are also monthly conference calls and webinars so you can brainstorm with the faculty trainers, category blogs that let you "Ask an Expert” to get advice from the trainers and even an EDGE Radio that gives you access to the "Think and Grow Rich" mastermind training sessions with Paul Martinelli, and other trainer interviews.

The company estimates that to hire just 10 of these business experts would cost roughly $225,000 a day and I believe them. Thankfully, the EDGE program costs less than $6 a day -- and there is NO long-term contract! I really can't see a downside with this program. I suggest you visit www.tntent.ilg.tv  at iLearningGlobal to learn more about the faculty the service and the opportunity to learn more. What do you have to lose?
