 | CLA claims scrutinized for fraud by

In 2007, two chiropractors were fined
$25,000 for claiming the chiropractic diagnostic machine they used was a
"NASA-designed device." According to a report in the San Jose Mercury
News ("Back-Pain Treatment Scrutinized" by Barbara Feder-Ostrov, April
19, 2007), this wasn't an isolated case. "The companies that make them
(the chiropractic devices) and the chiropractors who buy them are coming
under increasing scrutiny from local district attorneys and federal
officials for fraudulent advertising and unproven claims of
effectiveness."

Ken Vinton, DC, has been picked as
the World Chiropractic Alliance's new liaison to the United Nations and
the UN's NGO Health Committee.

 | WCA restarts postage stamp program
-- The World Chiropractic Alliance
will once again offer custom-designed chiropractic postage stamp labels.
According to Terry A. Rondberg, DC, WCA CEO, the organization had stopped
selling the stamps because of rapidly rising prices. |
